Which trope do you defend with your life?

Lauren

Friends to Lovers… I think because that was truly how my husband and I came to be so it just pulls me in. “The People We Meet on Vacation” was my most recent Friends to Lovers read. Can’t say I loved the movie as much as I loved the book though!

Shayna of Parallel Worlds Bookshop

Enemies to lovers. Always.

Ellise

Friends-to-lovers! It doesn’t get as much love as enemies-to-lovers, but it’s the perfect slow burn with the right balance of drama and sweetness. Jealousy, missed moments, closeness that doesn’t quite cross boundaries, denial- it’s perfect!

Heather

Forced Proximity. There are only so many situations where this can happen, but every time it does, I’m 100% invested. Bonus points if it’s a slow burn romance.

Jalitza

Miscommunication. Sorry, not sorry. They WILL figure it out even if they don’t at first.

MK

There’s only one bed… oh no… (In my mind… oh yes)
