Ask the Staff: Which romance world would you move to immediately?

Hello friends, and welcome back to our fourth edition of Ask the Staff. The team has been insanely busy (near frantic) finalizing the programming schedule and everything else, and it was nice to take a moment to share a little bit more about us.

Continuing on, we’ve asked our staffers a question about lands far away, and this was how they answered….💖📚✨

Which romance world would you move to immediately?

Ellise

Emily Wilde’s! Uncovering the mystery of fae and becoming a Queen?!

Jalitza

The World of Frell, Ella Enchanted’s world. Love me some quirk silly fun times.

MK

Any one of them where there is no email, no Slack, no Zoom, no corporate jobs, yet everyone still gets to live in a mansion or castle. (So many to choose from!)

Shayna of Parallel Worlds Bookshop

Half City by Kate Golden – urban fantasy perfection. Vampires, demons, demon hunters, werewolves, and both a dark-haired and a silver-haired love interest ;)

Leslie

It isn’t exactly a romance world, but it is fantastical… The Chronicles of Narnia!!! I have this recurring dream where I stumble upon a dusty wardrobe, hidden away in an old mansion. Once I open the door, a rush of cold winter air and the scent of evergreen forests! Adventures await with Mr. Beaver, Mr. Tumnus, and all the talking animals of Narnia. It’s a nice dream. Maybe this is why I live in the mountains of Pennsylvania and talk to my cats…

Heather

Hm, tough one because I feel like so many that I’ve read take place in post-apocalyptic or war-torn worlds… but I’ll go with whatever world Stephanie Garber’s Caraval series is in. It seems like there is a lot of mystery, magic, and intrigue there. It’s like Wonderland but filled with magical dresses, cooky characters, and dreamy men.
